  • Example: Enter 30 and click → the item will be 30% off.
  • $ Discount Apply a fixed dollar amount discount to the item.
  • Example: Enter 2 and click → the item price will be reduced by $2.
  • Unit Price Manually set the unit price of the item.
  • Example: If the original price is $7, and you enter 3 and click "Unit Price", the item will now cost $3 per unit. If the customer orders two units, the total will be $6.
  • Name Price Set a custom total price for this item, regardless of quantity.
  • Example: If the customer ordered 2 cookies priced at $6 each (total $12), and you enter 10 in "Name Price", the total becomes $10. You may also set it to $30, overriding the original calculated amount.

Order-Level Discounts (Bottom Left Corner)

  • Customized discounts are applied manually.

  • Once configured, they will appear on the POS interface.

How to Configure a Customized Discount

  • Manager Authorization Enable this option if the discount requires approval from a manager-level staff member at the time of use.

  • Validity Period You can set a start and end date, as well as specific valid times for when the discount is active.

Automatic Discount

  • Automatic discounts are applied automatically at the POS when conditions are met — no manual input from staff is required.

  • They can be configured for:

    • The entire order

    • Individual items

    • Specific product categories

This provides greater flexibility and ease of use in day-to-day operations.

  • You can set up different types of automatic discounts, such as:

    • Percentage discounts (e.g., 10% off)

    • Fixed-amount discounts (e.g., $5 off)

    • Buy X Get Y promotions (e.g., Buy 2, Get 1 Free)

How It Works:

When placing an order on the POS:

  • If the order or any of its items meet the pre-set discount conditions,

  • The discount will be automatically applied at checkout — no need for staff to manually select it.

How to Configure an Automatic Discount

  • Discount percentage & Discount Amount are straight forward

  • Multi-Buy

    • The Multi-Buy discount allows you to offer special pricing when customers purchase items in bulk. For example:

      • Buy 3 (under Quantity) Cokes = $10 total under sale price

      • Buy 3 (under Quantity) Cokes = $3 Per Item under sale price

This type of discount encourages customers to buy more items to enjoy a better price.

  • Buy X Get Y

    • The Buy X Get Y discount allows flexible promotions, such as:

      • Buy 2 Coke, get 1 Coke Zero free

      • Buy 2 Coke, get the next Coke or Coke Zero at 20% off

    • Usage Per Order
